Private limited company registration

We prepare and file your company's incorporation application with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), check every document before anything is filed, and keep you updated at each step. The Registrar of Companies issues the registration itself.

  • A call back from an expert to understand your plans
  • A written scope and itemised quotation before any work starts
  • A document checklist for each director and for your office address

  • Director Identification Numbers (DIN) for new directors, applied for within the same application

Fees

Request a quotation

Fees depend on the number of directors, how many digital signatures are needed, the authorised capital and your state's stamp duty, so we quote after a short call.

Your quotation lists each of these separately:

  • Professional fees for our work
  • Government fees and stamp duty, at actual cost
  • Digital signature certificates, if needed
  • GST on professional fees

Who can register

  • At least two directors and two shareholders. The same people can be both.
  • At least one director who stays in India for at least 182 days during the financial year, as the Companies Act, 2013 requires.
  • A registered office address in India — a home or a commercial property — with recent proof of address and the owner's no-objection certificate.
  • No minimum paid-up capital is set by law. You decide the authorised and paid-up capital.
  • Foreign nationals and NRIs can be directors or shareholders. Their documents usually need notarisation or apostille, which we confirm on your call.

Not sure this is the right structure? Compare a private limited company, LLP and one person company.

Documents you’ll need

From each director and shareholder

  • PAN card (Indian nationals)
  • One identity proof: Aadhaar, passport, voter ID or driving licence
  • One recent address proof: bank statement, or a utility or mobile bill, usually not older than two months
  • A recent passport-size photograph
  • Email address and mobile number, used for DIN and digital signatures

For the registered office

  • A recent utility bill for the address (electricity, gas, water or telephone), usually not older than two months
  • No-objection certificate (NOC) from the property owner
  • Rent or lease agreement, if the property is rented

Don't send documents with your enquiry. If you decide to go ahead, we'll tell you exactly what's needed and how to share it securely.

How it works

  1. Request a call back

Send the short form or call us. An expert calls you to understand your plans and answer your questions.

  2. Receive a written quotation

It sets out the scope, what is included and excluded, and lists professional fees, government charges and taxes separately.

  3. Confirm and share documents

Once you accept the quotation and the agreed payment is made, we send a document checklist for each director and the office address.

  4. Preparation and review

Your preparer drafts the application and a second team member reviews it. You approve the final details before anything is signed.

  5. Signing and filing

Directors sign with their digital signatures and we file with MCA. We share the filing reference with you.

  6. The Registrar's decision

The Registrar either approves the application or asks for changes, which we answer. On approval, we send you the Certificate of Incorporation, PAN and TAN.

How long it takes

We don't promise a fixed number of days, because parts of the process are outside our control. Your quotation includes an estimate, and we tell you when the next step depends on you or on the Registrar.

The main things that affect timing:

  • How quickly directors share documents and complete digital signature verification
  • Whether the Registrar accepts the proposed name on first review
  • MCA processing times and any resubmission requests

Common questions

Can my home address be the registered office?

Yes. A residential address can be used if you have a recent utility bill for it and a no-objection certificate from the owner.

Do I need to visit an office?

Usually not. Documents are shared online and directors sign the application with digital signatures. Some digital signature providers ask for a short video verification.

Is my proposed name guaranteed?

No. The Registrar approves names. We check your proposals against MCA naming rules first and suggest alternatives if a name is likely to be rejected.

What will I receive at the end?

The documents the authorities issue: the Certificate of Incorporation with your Corporate Identity Number (CIN), and the company's PAN and TAN. We send them to you with the filed Memorandum and Articles.

What has to be done after incorporation?

Some obligations start straight away — for example, appointing the first auditor and filing the commencement of business declaration. We'll list what applies to your company, and can help as a separate service.

Can foreign nationals be directors?

Yes, as long as at least one director meets the Indian residency requirement. Documents from abroad usually need notarisation or apostille; we confirm the details on your call.
